In 2008 it will be the British Border F.C.C. 80th Anniversary Year. With all our members, friends and supporters help we would like to celebrate this with a Special Show and hopefully put an Evening Reception on at The North Euston Hotel, in Fleetwood. This could be in the form of a sit down three course meal at an approximate cost of £20 per head or a Buffet supper at an approximate cost of £12 per head. This would include entertainment with dancing or just a DJ and Disco for dancing to.

Enquires have already been made at the North Euston Hotel and they are more than happy to accommodate us and to offer discounted rates to people staying for the weekend. For people staying in Blackpool transport could be provided to bring you to Fleetwood and back again.

Your views would be appreciated and the number of people who would be interested in attending.

Numbers would be restricted to 70 for a sit down meal or 90 for a buffet supper.

The main Ballroom at the North Euston is already booked for 2008 so therefore it would have to be held in the Vantini Suite.

The Vantini Suite has now been booked for our anniversary night out.

Anyone wishing to stay at the North Euston for this weekend (14, 15, 16 NOV. 08) please book direct to the Hotel (01253 876525) mentioning the British Border F. C. C. and you will be given a discounted rate of £80 for the room per night for D. B. & B. Minimum two night stay for this discount (£40 each).

Single Room & one night stay, tariff on request. credit card number will secure booking but not charged until arrival.

For further enquires and information please contact R. S. Norman Tel: 01928 567319, or e-mail, rsnorman44@hotmail.com

Further details of addditions to the show will be publicised in due course. A sub committee of Sid Moyers, Jimmy Sykes, John Rigby, Bob Norman and Jeff Hamlett have been asked to look into other option to celebrate the clubs 80th year.
